BURRAS acquires new CFA piling rig

BURRAS Ltd has acquired the advanced P-90TT continuous
flight auger (CFA) piling rig from Llamada. Due for delivery on 1st August
2005 the addition of the P-90TT will enhance the scope and range of specialist
piling services offered by BURRAS.
Commenting on the acquisition Michael Burras, founder and Managing Director
of

cost effective service backed up by the latest in piling technology".
Manufactured by C.M. Llamada the established specialists in foundation construction
equipment, the P-90TT CFA rig is capable of installing foundation and retaining
wall piles quickly, efficiently and cost effectively. The innovative design features
and computerised rig control system give unrivalled performance and maintains
the Llamada reputation as a leader in auger piling technology.
Continuous flight auger piling is particularly suited for urban areas and on
construction sites where it is essential to minimise noise, vibration and disturbance
to the surroundings. The CFA system is suitable for the majority of ground conditions
in the UK and an ideal piling solution for new foundations located in close proximity
to existing structures.
